Erin Hudson is a documentary filmmaker raised near the Sandia Mountains and now residing in the North Valley of Albuquerque.   Passionate about sharing stories with depth, dignity and respect, she founded the production studio, Rotation Films.  She works as an independent director, producer, editor and cinematographer. Erin’s New Visions New Mexico funded film, In Place Out of Time, was nominated for a Big Sky Documentary Film Award and won Best Short Documentary at the White Sands Film Festival. Hudson's documentaries have screened at festivals world-wide and have garnered such awards as a Student Academy Award, an International Documentary Association David L. Wolper Award, and a New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase Audience Favorite.

Erin is also committed to film and video education.  She’s taught college level courses for over five years and managed an afterschool teen program for middle and high school aged girls.  
 
Erin completed her MA in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford University and her BA from Colorado College.
