Alexis Brown

Alexis Brown

Alexis is a Santa Fe native who is committed to the arts and to her community. She became involved with Littleglobe when her close friend, Chrissie Orr, invited her to participate in Memory Lines. Memory Lines was an important turning point in her life, giving her a means to see the artist within her, to communicate with people in a new, deeper way, and more fully realize that despite our differences we all yearn for the same things in life. Alexis brings to the board her experience working with and on boards and in fund raising and communications.

I am from the desert, where the vast and ever-changing sky opens my soul
I am from friends and family, who with me break bread and create beauty
I am from empathy, a place of connection, understanding, safety, sharing
(inspired by Chrissie Orr's El Otro Lado exhibition)
