Memorylines

MEMORYLINES

Memorylines (2007) was a community-based contemporary opera that illuminated Santa Fe’s unique and diverse cultures. The months-long project brought together 25 community residents, ages 8 to 87, through a creative process which fostered community dialogue, empowerment and empathy. The resulting performance elevated perspectives rarely heard on the main stages of Santa Fe.

Lines & Circles

LINES & CIRCLES

The Lines and Circles Project (2008-2010) celebrated the Santa Fe community, encouraged positive relationships within and between families, nurtured meaningful community dialogue, and generated a body of art and poetry that commemorates city life.

SALVE: WOMEN ON WAR & WARRIORSHIP

SALVE: WOMEN ON WAR & WARRIORSHIP

SALVE is a spoken word and musical piece that explores the insights, perspectives, and reflections of women who are returned war veterans.  The performance allows us to bear witness to the lives and sacrifices of warriors and their families, the realities of returning to life after military service, and the costs of war on everyone.

Crossings

CROSSINGS

Crossings was a five-month performance project with The Creative Center for Women With Cancer in partnership with professional artists from the fields of choreography, set design, music and media arts. Crossings sought to break down barriers that exist between art production, healing processes, and performance.

Moment

Between Here and There

BETWEEN HERE AND THERE

Between Here and There, a commission from Dance City, is the first phase of a long-term project exploring notions of home, transition, migration and displacement based in the Stockton area (UK). This piece, developed over 10 days, is the initial framework of a longer term effort that aims to enact lasting social change through in-depth participatory art=making.

Muse Rescue

MUSE RESCUE

Each year Molly and friends will create a new album over a week-long intensive to help an individual who has hit hard times or to support an important cause. The music is freely distributed by CD and web. People are asked to donate $20 and pass the music along.

One and Many

ONE AND MANY

One and Many was an exploration in performance, sound, and imagery made by a collective of 13 women who came together through their shared experience of living with cancer. This exploration arose as an extension of this group's earlier performance and installation work with CROSSINGS (2001), a performance project based in expression through movement, sculpture, sound, and text.
