Santa Fe’s Capital High School

This NEA-funded bilingual program combined film training, and student-driven community engagement culminating in a multimedia events in area schools and at Santa Fe’s Lensic. The performances showcased short documentary videos, live on-stage radio production and music, and conversations that highlight the voices of students, families, allies and immigrant residents. This student-driven project was created to challenge Santa Fe’s misconceptions of the Southside community and Capital High School, regarded as Santa Fe’s “Ghetto School.”
